What We Have Accomplished  
 
Presentations to raise awareness of our substance abuse epidemic
    Provided Parent to Parent training to aid in family support issues
    Instrumental in getting a prescription monitoring bill in Maine
    Assisted, searched and procured treatment services for Washington County
    Coalition’s evolved from NADA’s work include Washington County Drug Action Team (WCDAT), Washington County Continuum of Care, and Communities that Care ®
    Able to open an office where we can serve the community by providing resources and information
    As a result of our new office, we are able to provide space for other community groups to meet
    Attended the New England Institute of Addiction Studies three years in a row
    Provided Communities that Care ® training in order to identify risks and protective factors
    Built a lending library that addresses the many different issues related to substance abuse in the family and the community
     Collaborating with Women, Work & Community and Weed & Seed to provide asset building programs for the community
    Disseminating information at fairs and events
    Provided an Issues and Actions seminar regarding prescription drugs for medical personnel and law enforcement 
    Attended seminars on suicide prevention, methamphetamines, inhalants & other related topics
